Xul Valley is an infinite canvas for thinking on a Mac — somewhere between a whiteboard and a notebook. Put text, notes, shapes, images, video, audio and PDFs anywhere on an endless surface. Connect them with lines. Move things around until the idea makes sense. Then turn the same board into a deck and present it full screen. It’s made for solo creative work: writers plotting a novel, musicians sketching an album, game designers mapping systems, developers planning architecture, teachers building a lesson. Not team process. In this build (1.0 build 1) * Infinite canvas with pan, zoom, snapping, groups and rotation * Text, notes, shapes, connectors, tables, images, video, audio, PDFs, links * A searchable library of vector shapes * Templates to start from, or a blank canvas * Slides and a full-screen presentation mode with camera transitions * Export as an image, a web page, slide PNGs, or a multi-page PDF * An inspector with styles and reusable presets * An interactive tutorial (Help ▸ Interactive Tutorial) and a full manual (⌘?) * English and German throughout What it deliberately doesn’t do: - No account, no cloud, no sync, no telemetry. - Your boards are ordinary files on your own disk that you can move, copy and back up like anything else. The one time it touches the network is fetching a preview when you paste a link. The format is open. Requires a Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 26 or later. Install it from the TestFlight app on your Mac — not the App Store. This is the first beta. Rough edges are expected, and hearing about them is the whole point. What to Test Anything you’d genuinely use it for — the most useful reports come from real work, not from a checklist. If you want somewhere to start: * Make a board from a template, and one from blank * Type into shapes and notes, especially editing in the middle of existing text, quickly. Text editing is the part I most want stress-tested. * Drag in pictures, a video, an audio file, a PDF * Connect things up, then move and rotate them and see if the lines behave * Build a few slides and present them * Export as a web page and as a PDF, and check the result looks right * Zoom far in and far out, and pan around a big board — tell me if it stutters * Quit with unsaved work, reopen, and confirm nothing was lost Please report: anything that loses your work, anything that looks wrong at a particular zoom level, and anything you expected to be somewhere and wasn’t. Send feedback straight from the TestFlight app, or reply to the invite email. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
