SofaCode drives the AI coding assistant already running in VS Code on your own computer — Claude Code or GitHub Copilot Chat. Start here: install the free daemon with `curl -fsSL https://dl.codedatda.casa/sofacode/install.sh | bash`, run `sofacode pair`, then in the app go to Machines -> Add machine and scan the QR it prints (or type the 8-digit code). Allow the Local Network prompt — without it the app cannot see your computer at all. Worth a look this build: the deck and its gestures (tap to talk, hold to send, double-tap for windows), push-to-talk dictation, approving permission prompts from the phone, the chat transcript with code blocks and task lists, the file browser and terminal, and the subscription screen (7 days free, then $5/month or $50/year).
