Seize Light reads the sun above you and turns it into the two moments that matter each day — when to get morning light to set your body clock, and when the sun is high enough to make vitamin D. Thanks for testing Seize Light! This build is feature-complete and we'd love your feedback before public launch. WHAT IT DOES Most sun apps show today's UV as a single number. Seize Light shows your whole day: your location and the live sky draw the sun's real arc and mark your daily light windows — • Morning light — when to get outside after waking, and for how long (adjusted for cloud), to set your clock. • The vitamin-D window — when the sun is high enough to make vitamin D, with a live dose-vs-burn countdown personalized to your skin type. It counts down to a safe stop, never to a burn. • Evening wind-down — when to dim the lights to protect your sleep. Your Apple Watch's Time in Daylight feeds a daily Light Score and a streak. WHAT TO TRY • Set your skin type in onboarding, then open the app around midday to see the vitamin-D session. • Tap and drag along the sun arc to scrub the time of day. • Grant Health access so Time in Daylight can build your Light Score (Apple Watch needed for this part). • Open "How this works" to read the science behind each number. • Try it in your own language — localized in 39 App Store languages. KNOWN ISSUES • "UV not available" may appear on the vitamin-D card. This is a WeatherKit service-side issue we're resolving with Apple; everything else stays functional. FEEDBACK Use "Send Beta Feedback" in TestFlight (or a screenshot) to flag anything confusing, wrong, or missing. Bug reports, wording nits, and translation issues all welcome. Requires iPhone on iOS 18+. Seize Light is a wellness and educational tool — not medical advice or a medical device. UV and vitamin-D values are estimates; follow local sun-safety guidance and never burn.
