Prism is a system management app for plural systems — groups of people sharing one body. It helps them track who is fronting, communicate between members, manage member profiles, build habits together, and keep shared notes. All data is stored encrypted on-device and synced across devices using end-to-end encryption. The relay server holds only encrypted ciphertext and has no key to decrypt it.
What testers are evaluating in this build:
- Onboarding and initial setup flow
- Device pairing (requires two devices and a QR code scan)
- Fronting session logging and the fronting timeline
- Member management and profiles
- In-app chat between members
- Import from Simply Plural and Sync with PluralKit
Known issues / rough areas:
- Various UI bugs on smaller devices in particular
- Back buttons in onboarding don't work consistently (workaround: hard restart app resets onboarding)
Access:
No account or login is required. The app is self-contained — testers create a local system during onboarding or import data from other apps. To test device sync, two devices running the beta build are needed.
Note for reviewers: Prism handles identity and communication data for a marginalized community. The app is not a medical or clinical tool. The encryption implementation uses Argon2id, XChaCha20-Poly1305, X25519, and post-quantum algorithms (ML-DSA-65, ML-KEM-768) — export compliance documentation has been filed separately.
