Photocean is a native iOS photo app for people who run their own Immich server. It puts the photos on your server and the photos on this iPhone into one timeline.
What makes it different:
· One timeline: browse photos from your iPhone and your server together by Years, Months, or All. A photo that exists in both places appears only once, even a Live Photo that the server split in two.
· Memories: ten kinds of memories are made on your iPhone, including On This Day, Trips, Big Days, Light, Seasons, Year in Review, and People. The best photos are picked automatically; play a memory with music or save it as a video.
· Gallery: an auto-scrolling photo wall, and any album can go on it. Tap a photo to turn it into an instant photo with a frame and a caption, then share it.
· Places and Search: place names are looked up on your iPhone and shown in your language. Search by person, place, or date, even offline.
· Backup and space: back up photos from your iPhone to your server, then remove the backed-up ones from your iPhone to free up space.
· Privacy: Photocean has no servers of its own and collects no data. Your photos travel only between your iPhone and your server. Photos on your iPhone can go into the Hidden album without being uploaded.
No server? Photocean also works on its own, showing the photos in your iPhone's Photos library.
Browsing, managing, and backing up photos are always free; some Memories and Gallery features need to be unlocked.
