NaviBeat is a native client for Navidrome, and any OpenSubsonic-compatible self-hosted music server. It’s available as a Universal Purchase that covers iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Watch, allowing you to purchase it once and use it on all your devices. Unlike other music streaming services, NaviBeat doesn’t stream music from our servers. Instead, it connects to your own Navidrome or Subsonic server, which you enter during sign-in. We don’t collect any analytics, crash reports, or telemetry data, ensuring complete privacy and zero third-party tracking. NaviBeat offers a range of features, including browsing your library (artists, albums, playlists, genres, recently added or played items, and favorites), online streaming with caching, offline downloads, time-synced lyrics, AirPlay, Apple Watch Companion with standalone local playback, and CarPlay Audio (subject to approval). Testers authenticate with their own server, and iCloud Keychain sync pairs the Watch and TV automatically. The target operating systems for NaviBeat are iOS 18+, iPadOS 18+, macOS 15+, tvOS 18+, and watchOS 11+. TEST SERVER IF YOU NEED: Server URL: https://demo.navidrome.org Username: demo Password: demo Notes: This is the official public Navidrome demo server, maintained by the Navidrome project (https://github.com/navidrome/navidrome). It hosts a small royalty-free Creative Commons music library that’s suitable for testing client apps. It’s the recommended demo server for validating Subsonic/OpenSubsonic client compatibility. The library contains approximately 20 albums and 200 tracks of CC-licensed music. Importantly, no personal data is stored on this server. The server is always online at this URL, and no two-factor authentication (2FA) or one-time password (OTP) is required to access it.
