Lorca runs AI bots on computers you own. Chat with one bot, or put several in a group chat. Bots work with files in the folder you give them, run commands, search the web, and remember what you tell them. Give them a job and they coordinate the work among themselves. The iPhone and iPad app lets you chat with your bots while they keep running on your computer. It needs Lorca on a Mac, or the Lorca CLI on Linux or Windows. Scan the QR code in the desktop app to pair. Download the Mac app at https://lorca.app Chat • Replies appear as the bot writes them, and you see what it is doing: thinking, reading a file, running a command, searching the web. • Send another message while a bot works to steer it. It finishes its current step, then follows the new message. • Put up to six bots in a group chat. They take turns answering. @mention a bot to hear from it first. • Attach photos, camera shots, and files, or dictate a message. • Get a notification when a bot replies. Tap it to open the chat. Bots • Create a bot to run on any of your computers. Set its name, description, look (a symbol and color, or a photo), AI provider, model, and thinking level. • Ask a bot to set up a routine, a task it runs on a schedule. Pause, resume, run, or delete routines from the chat's details. • Install plugins on a computer to connect its bots to GitHub, Linear, Notion, Sentry, and more. • Lorca checks commands and plugin actions before they run. Safe ones run on their own. Risky ones post a card in the chat for you to allow or deny. Add Auto-review rules to choose what runs without asking. Account and privacy • Connect an AI provider once: sign in with ChatGPT or Grok, or add a DeepSeek, Anthropic, or OpenCode API key. It reaches your other devices encrypted with your account key. • Chats, bots, and credentials are encrypted on your devices before they sync through the relay. The relay can't decrypt them. • Notifications are encrypted on your computer and decrypted on your phone. Apple and the relay see only "New reply". • See which of your devices are online, and unpair any of them, including a lost computer. On iPad, the chat list and the open chat sit side by side. The app is in English and Simplified Chinese.
