Flybound

Flybound is a PLANNING AID for general-aviation pilots to discover reachable day-trip destinations from a home airport. It is NOT a navigation app, not for in-flight use, and does not provide turn-by-turn guidance or replace an official preflight briefing — this is stated in onboarding, the About screen, and throughout the UI (FAR 91.103 disclaimer). No account or login is required. Weather is public data from the FAA/NWS aviation weather service (aviationweather.gov). Location is used only to optionally set the user's home airport and is never shared. There is no tracking and no third-party analytics. To exercise the app: launch it, accept the planning-aid disclaimer, and a default aircraft (Piper Cherokee 235) and home airport (KGTU) are preset, so the map populates immediately with scored destinations. No special setup needed.
