Mag Lab — Turn photos into print-ready magnet sheets Mag Lab is the fastest way for makers, photo booths, and small print shops to lay out custom photo magnets and send them straight to a printer. Drop in photos, crop them into round or rectangular magnet shapes, arrange them on a page, and export a print-ready PDF. What you can do Build a photo queue. Add photos from your library, Files, or directly from another phone — then crop, rotate, adjust brightness/contrast/saturation, and pick a per-photo background fill. Use any size paper. Built-in Letter, A4, and custom page sizes in millimeters or inches. Magnets snap to fully editable templates (grid, gutters, dimensions, per-side text). Create custom templates to test with your machines. Receive photos from customers. Run a tiny on-device Wi-Fi server that turns any nearby phone into an upload page — with a prominently displayed ticket number (L0001–L9999), an optional name, and an optional phone number that travel with each photo into the queue. A "Photos are ready" SMS is one tap away on every queued thumbnail (the message body is editable in Settings). Export to a sheet. Render selected photos onto your active template, watch them stamp into the layout, and export PDF for printing. Save and reuse. Pro users get a magnet archive (categorized library), settings export/import, and unlimited custom templates. Why we're in beta We're polishing the multi-device LAN flow, the cloud-upload pipeline, ticket persistence, the SMS handoff, and a handful of new template ergonomics. Your feedback on edge cases — odd file types, weird Wi-Fi setups, custom page math, and whatever else you can throw at it — is exactly what we need before public release. What we want feedback on Specific template settings that work with specific machines The local-server upload page (does the QR + ticket flow feel obvious to a customer?) Crop editor responsiveness on older devices Render output accuracy at non-standard page sizes Anything that crashes, locks up, or quietly does the wrong thing Some beta specific tools are still visible in Settings (will be removed before public release) Wi-Fi passwords are intentionally excluded from settings exports for safety — re-enter on each device and are used for created QR codes iPad layout is functional but still being tuned Requires iOS 17 or later. iPhone and iPad supported.
